ADELE has given up alcohol to preserve his voice ahead of his much-anticipated return this week.
The 33-year-old Skyfall singer told fans it made her feel “sad”.
Speaking in her first Instagram Live session, she said: “Aperol spritz, I love that. Though ’cause I’m gearing up to come back, I’m going to have to stop my drinking.
Adele recently admitted that she ended up drinking more in lockdown.
She said: “I always feel a little hungry on Monday mornings. It was got to drink, before and after. “
She suffered a “hang” from alcohol, telling Vogue magazine: “I was falling out of the back door of the bar instead of falling from the front. Then I remembered I woke up with the worst hangover ever.
“Hangxity, I call it. ‘Who did I talk to? What did I do?’
“It was my crazy month.”
On Friday, Adele will release her first song in six years with the new single, Easy on Me, from her fourth studio album titled 30 Supposedly.
He played the first 40 seconds of ballads during his live stream.
Adele confirmed that she wrote the tracks about her divorce from Simon Konecki, 47. She said: “Writing my music has been really therapeutic. You get a lot . . . “
