Forget alien abduction or warp speed spaceship because no one exists in a romantic movie Finally. While time travel plays an advance point in the film’s plot, it is actually a love story between Tim, (played by Fantastic) domhnall gleeson) and Mary (the always entertaining Rachel McAdams) with family drama and adorable meet-cutes.
about the main character
whereas McAdams Smart and sassy as a love interest, the film shines because of Gleason’s sweet portrayal of a time traveler named Tim who uses his ability to navigate the space-time continuum for good despite basic circumstances.
Tim is not interested in stealing government secrets or preventing murders. The topic of becoming a superhero and saving the planet is not discussed. Instead he mostly visits his past to avoid uncomfortable situations, such as an accidental New Year’s Eve kiss.
Thanks to family genetics, the men in Tim’s family can travel through time. Tim’s father, played by the talented Bill Nighy, shares family secrets with Tim when his son is an adult. As the story progresses, life takes on new meaning for the main character. Once again, there is no science-fiction act, but at times the characters and their situations touch on the meaning of life.
About actor Domhnall Gleeson
While actor Domhnall Gleeson is no stranger to science fiction movies, remember that he was General Hux Star Wars: The Force Awakens And the last jedic. he was too big brother bill to Ronald Weasley Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I and Part II. Plus, don’t forget your turn as a lucky, or (spoiler alert) unlucky, contestant winner in the artificial intelligence thriller East Machina.
Too Bad That All The Sci-Fi Acting Wasn’t Necessary For His Role Finally. All he needs is a dark and solitary place to transport his character, Tim, to another time dimension. While it sounds like a trip for astronauts or undercover military agents, it’s basically just a nap. Without hoopla or flair, Tim straddles time and space to travel to the past and return to the present.
With only the world of Hogwarts being an exception, none of Gleason’s other films featured characters who jump the time loop and change history. Finally changes the results. It also includes hilarious and poignant moments where Gleason’s character relishes first dates and even gets a little help in the bedroom.
About the plot of the film
While it sometimes seems trivial and funny to poke fun at Tim’s earlier days, it doesn’t take them long to discover that things can’t always be fixed with a brief trip to the past. Relationships are the main focus for this film, especially the relationship between Tim and Mary and Tim’s relationship with his father. The love story is the most prominent, but the father-son scenes are also heartwarming.
By jumping back and forth from past and present, Tim is able to engage with Mary in a series of awkward conversations that are witty and heartwarming. He is also able to appreciate his father and family in new ways.
Again, time travel is prevalent in the film, but there are no dragons in the skies, no venomous plagues, and no space warfare. This movie is a good romantic movie to win the hearts of the audience. And when Tim finally fixes it and meets Mary properly for the first time, a sigh of almost universal relief can practically be heard, even when watching a movie alone with headphones on.
about happy ending
Aside from Tim and his father, all the other characters are left in the dark when it comes to the time-traveling ways of these two men. There is no deep suspicion by side character or longing for power from father or son.
Tim never takes the reverse trip to try to go back and win the lottery or blackmail a rogue politician. Finally Tim focuses on finding love, connecting with his family, and being happy in a life he’s built through moment-worthy conversation.
